David V. Camack, 44, of South 21st Street, Philadelphia, formerly of Lindamere near Fox Point, Del., died Wednesday of a stroke in Methodist Hospital, Philadelphia, after collapsing last Thursday.


   Mr. Camack, a Wilmington native, graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1965. He was active in the drama club and baseball team. He graduated from the University of Richmond (Va.) and later served in the Army Re­serve.

   He worked at Bank of Dela­ware for several years, and later in sales.  He enjoyed karate, bowling and golf.  He had been a member of Elks Club, Wilmington.

   He is survived by his longtime friend, Arlene Conroy of Philadel­phia; his parents, David W. and Beryl Camack of Lindamere; a sis­ter, Donna E. Bruce of Bellefonte, Del.; and his maternal grandmother, Enid Metcalf of Sydney, Australia.

   Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Beeson Memorial Services of North Wilmington, 412 Philadelphia Pike, Bellevue, where friends may call at 9:45. Burial will be in Gracelawn Me­morial Park, North Du Pont Highway, Minquadale.


   The family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, Wilmington.
